Our Junior Camp offers a balance of creative, enriching and educational experiences for young children, generally ages 3-6, who are entering pre-kindergarten and kindergarten in the fall. Campers begin the day at 8:30 a.m. engaged in developmentally appropriate instruction and child-directed activities which provide an opportunity for each camper to experience success in language and literacy development, as well as to pre-math knowledge. Our youngest campers have their own classrooms and outdoor spaces and enjoy a rich program full of age-appropriate academic and play-based activities, designed to encourage a love of learning and a sense of wonder for world around them.
Junior Campers enjoy a morning snack and nutritious lunch, followed by a short rest period. Afternoon activities include music, dance, arts and crafts, cooking, games, sports and outdoor science explorations. Campers also participate in daily swim lessons at the camp pool, under the supervision of our certified instructors. One field trip is scheduled each two-week session to local parks, zoos, and outdoor spaces.
Junior Camp begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. Our flexible schedule allows campers to enroll for the full six weeks, or to select and combine various two-week sessions. The cost per two-week session is $1,100.
