Overview
Ojai Valley School has been recognized worldwide as a leader in English language programs and continues to enroll a diverse community of students from around the world. This includes our English Language Camp for students entering grades 3-9. In summer, international students have the opportunity to join our camp to develop language skills and interact with American peers. Campers also participate in field trips, weekend excursions, and other hands-on learning opportunities.
Program Details
At the start of camp, students are assessed to determine their level of English proficiency. They attend morning classes that focus exclusively on language acquisition. Classes are small, allowing for individualized instruction from experienced teachers, and provide international students with a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and listening skills. After lunch, campers join their American peers for afternoon activities in the afternoon and evenings. See the daily schedule below for details:
