Q: What are the rules and policies for Summer Camp?
A: The 2026 Summer Camper Handbook outlines the rules and policies for camp. It also contains detailed information for resident campers about what to bring, and what to leave home, as well as the dress code, expectations, and more. We also have Junior Camper Handbook for our youngest campers that outlines expectations and what to bring. There are required health and registration forms for families to complete, which are available on the Forms and Resources page.
Q: Is the pool open during Summer Camp?
A: Yes! Campers will have the opportunity to swim at our pool on campus.
Q: Are there special camp days?
A: Yes! We typically enjoy fun spirit days and special activities, such as water slide fun on campus, games on the big field, karaoke and casino night for resident campers, and more. Here are the calendars for Summer Camp 2025, which will give you an example of our past activities:

Q: Do you offer daily bus service for day campers?
A: Yes, OVS provides twice daily bus service from Ventura to Ojai for summer campers. Contact the Admission Office for more information. Here is the Day Bus Schedule.
Q: Do you offer transportation from LAX for resident campers?
A: Yes, OVS provides transportation from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Contact the Admission Office for more information. Here is the LAX Transportation Form.
Q: What activities are offered in summer camp?
A: Campers choose from a wide range of morning camp programs followed by afternoon activities. Activities typically offered in summer camp are listed below:

Q: Do you offer any programs for younger children?
A: Yes! Our Junior Camp offers a balance of creative, enriching and educational experiences for young children ages 3-5. Our flexible schedule allows campers to enroll for the full six weeks, or to select one of two three-week sessions.
