Overview
Fine Arts Camp is a specialty program offered for day and resident campers, grades 3-8, to explore various mediums of art and collaborate with creative teachers in our Pearson Center for the Arts. Classes are grouped by age as campers exploring clay, paint, paper, mosaics, wood, and more through individual lessons and group projects. Small class size allows teachers to provide the personal attention necessary to inspire young artists to solve problems creatively, practice art techniques and discover modes of self-expression in a safe and nurturing environment.
Campers seeking a six-week experience can opt for Fine Arts Camp one session and then select another specialty camp, such as Performing Arts, Robotics or Equestrian, for the other session.
Ojai is known worldwide for its thriving arts community. Our goal is to build confidence in our campers, spark creativity and encourage them to become designers of their own world, in and out of the art room. In the afternoon, campers join their peers for afternoon activities on campus.
